I've just gotten a Cpanel box from RS, if you hand't already guessed that by the fact that I'm posting here.

We also rent an Ensim box here, and this was one of the threads I found very helpful when setting up that box.

This explains how to change the default hostname. (see the second post on the thread).

Will this same process work on a Cpanel box? (just modifying the two files & rebooting) Or are there other things that need to be reconfigured actually in Cpanel?

Sorry if this is somewhere in a FAQ or how-to, but I had a browse through the past couple of months of posts and couldn't find anything.

It is said that it is the same thing as with ensim ( I have no idea, never done that on a Ensim box)
