This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (Exim).

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

xxx@xxx.com.sg
unrouteable mail domain "xxxcom.sg"

wat does this means? This xxx.com.sg is a valid domain and xxxx@xxx.com.sg is a valid email but seems like I can't send mail to this address. I only have this problem when I sent out mail from my forum... no problem when I use outlook. Anyway to rectify?

by the way how to setup in a way so dat any bounce mails wun be hang in my mail queue and will bounce to my email(so I can actually know which email was bounced). icon_sad.gif

That domain is not resolving according to your server.

Try using a different hostname, one that is established and resolves, and added to your DNS. The emails will then work.

Uncheck, prevent user from sending email as nobody in the tweeks section. If you dont have phpsuexec installed on that server then you will get unroutable domain errors all over the place if you have this option checked.

Primenet.cc resolves very nicely and always has. The problem is, see msg above. Nothing to do with resolving.

I see. icon_smile.gif I had a similar problem, and I fixed it by using a totally separate domain name, which solved the problem. Currently I have suexec disabled, and nobody allowed as well.

That's not totally correct: If you have it checked, then PHP cannot send mail outside the box, however PHP will be able to send mail to local users. Therefore, you would need to use forwarding (via a local mailbox) to send (via the forward) to a mailbox outside the box... icon_wink.gif

All of this 'nobody' not being allowed to send mail (outside the box) really isn't that bad a concept, if you think about it... icon_wink.gif

Whats not correct? That's what i said in my reply. I said one needs to uncheck the option in tweeks unless you have phpsuexec installed. If you have it checked and phpsuexec is not installed then you will get unroutable domain errors and bounced email back to nobody@yourhost.com.

Well then you must be the first to think so because i have never read a msg from one person thought it was ok. So your saying, I have a site on my box who decides to send out 600 messages and its ok for them to send out 600 messages as nobody@myhost.com? How are you going to find out who did it?

I really don't seem to get it, do you? rolleyes.gif

Did you set in CPanel Email management (at the top section on the left) to send mailman and nobody emails to your email?
