Problem:
Alright i administrator at a website and we have just got a rackshack server(cpanel),
We haven't moved are site over to our new server yet because a few problems in whm,

We made a test account with 50 mb's of space, but the problem is in whm it says "unlimited Meg" for quota, and "0 meg" for Space Used, it won't update the space used or quota, is there anyway to fix this or is a error out of my hands?

Heres the question:
on our ip there is a Test page (you probably know the page, it says "Hey, it worked !
The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was
successfully installed on this website."),
Is there anyway to change this page?

Thanks, and sorry if this is the wrong forum.icon_smile.gif

1) Try the /scripts/fixquotas script to update the disk quota stats.

2) Are you sure you assigned the test domain an IP address when you set it up in cpanel? The default "hey it worked" is the default home page for the server if it doesn't see or load the site's configuration from the httpd.conf (edit /usr/local/apache/htdocs/index.html.en if you care to change the page contents)

Let us know. icon_wink.gif

I'll try that in a few.

Ok, and you have Quotas enabled via WHM right?

/scripts/initquotas (Turns quotas on )

Besides the fixquotas script, there's also:

/scripts/resetquotas (sets all domains back to plan defaults)

If still stuck, submit a support ticket to Cpanel, or whomever does cpanel support for RS customers. icon_wink.gif

Hey, I had the same problem when I got a cPanel server from NAC so this is what I did.

1. I did the initial quota setup (took a while)
2. Ran the /scripts/fixquotas (took even longer - about 30 to 45 mins)

Then after that everything looked ok. Also, cPanel will cash about 15 mins behind time for the quotas so the load is not high.

Also, cpanel.net has a good cPanel forum also so if you don't find your solution here maybe over there then.

Thanks ronnieutd and rsaylor for you're help, the problem is fixed.
(don't know how, looks like the owner of the server fixed it.)
