Do you need a Dedicated IP for each domain that wants SSL?
Or is that just if you need to install an SSL certificate?

yes, you need a Ded. IP address for every website on wich you want to install SSL

Yes, as buttonbob answered. And that applies to any server, not just Plesk or Apache or even Linux. It's because the SSL connection is established before the Host Header is transmitted, so it's not possible to contact a specific site on a shared IP address.

I've been sharing an SSL cert on one domain for my clients, and it works okay for html stuff. Only problem is when you use cgi or perl scripts. The problem appears to be that apache need the scripts to be owned by the main domain user and not the person with ftp access to the shared area.
Does anyone have any idea of a work around for this? At present I just allow the clients to upload the scripts and I chown the files so they can do testing etc. which is rather annoying really.
