Full Version: How do I get to the php.ini files?

I have been told that I need to change the php.ini file for a form that does automatic linking of uploaded graphics to work and I do not know Linux at all.:confused:

Read forum rules to post in the correct place.

php.ini is in /etc/php.ini . Backup first, and plan to learn icon_smile.gif or hire an admin.

Thank you! now how do I get to that directory over telnet?

Which type of server do you have? Ensim, Plesk, Plain Redhat, Raq, Cpanel???

you don't need to be using telnet..ssh2/putty is your friend. icon_smile.gif

Start with the http://linuxcommand.org/ learning shell tutorial. You'll screw your server if you don't know nothing at all. You'll learn to navigate on linux commanline.
