NightHawk,

I have been getting errors on all outgoing emails to domains that are not located on our machine. Every single email I tried to send comes up with this error(copied from outlook):

"The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was email@domain.com'. Subject 'Re: Subject', Account: 'nick.myserver.com', Server: 'mail.myserver.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79"

These emails are top level domains that are very active such as paypal, hotmail, aol, attbi and so forth. I havnt yet checked the logs as to I do not have anything that is not a default plesk install...so no filters or additional programs. Any idea on whats wrong?

TIA
micxz
Could use their ISP's smtp mail server.

Works faster anyhow this way!

3 guesses:

1) your isp is blocking port 25 to thier mailserver only (happens with some isp's)
or
2) You either didn't setup relaying to pop authentication or smtp authentication
or
3) You are on pop authentication, and didn't check your email (pop) before you tried to send (smtp)
