Plesk has its own backup utilities. Go to the plesk.com site and sign up for an account and you will find the download for them after you have logged in.

I've downloaded the script: PSA v.5.0.x Backup/Restore Utilities
I've downloaded the version for Red hat 7.3
Also I've uploaded the script file, via ftp to /home/admin
Then I've chmoded this file 755
From the system prompt (telnet) I run the following command:
sh /home/admin/psa_v5.0.x_Backup_Utilities_build021118.12_os_RedHat_7.3_i686.sh
and I get "command not found" and two syntax errors in the file.
Can anybody help please?
Thanks
JC

Check out NightHawk's How to - also it is not advisable to use telnet - use SSH instead - much more secure.

In the 'How To' forum - perhaps we ought to have aplesk How to Forum, and the Ensim chaps could have their own one as well. - As some How To's are posted in this forum as well.
http://forum.rackshack.net/showthread.php?...&threadid=19421
is the direct link.

I am sorry - I didn't read your post correctly - my apologies.
It seems to suugest that the command sh does not exist. If you navigate to the directory that holds the file - do you get the same error?
However if you are then getting syntax errors, I would suggest that either you do not have the correct permissions (are you running as root?) or the file is corrupt. Try wget the file again from Plesk's site.
Sorry for the earlier confusion.
