Hi,

I'm a newbie here at rackshack, and noticed in the ensim forum there is a "to do" list for folks with new servers running ensim.

I was wondering if there is a similar list for plesk users, and if not, what kinds of things should I be doing now with my new server.

Note, I have been able to get a couple of my sites up and running, but I'm wondering about security problems, getting my own nameserver going, etc.

As for name server, the default configuration of plesk should have everything set up and running already

The file looks like a great resource. I really like the pdf version and the work that was put into helping users understand what are commands, what are file edits, etc.

The other How-To's I've read here seem to assume a pretty good understanding of what is going on, because they really are not that clear to me.

I would disagree with that dns configuration statement.....

The defualt setup of plesk needs the dns templates completly reworked to be setup properly...especially if you are planning on running your own nameservers, but never fear..the plesk manaul covers a few very good setups...complete with screen shots
