Full Version: Moving MySql database to another Domain

I have a reseller that developed a shopping cart/database in MySql on DomainA and wants to move it to DomainB. I have Plesk 2.5*on a 7.1 box, and I am not sure how this can be done. The Control Panel of course has no provision for accessing an already existing database. Any way this can be done?

You should be able to log in to the domain. Press DATABASES, on the right hand side there is a button for PHPMYADMIN. You should be able to go in there and copy the database. You will have to change the name of the database if you are putting it on the same server because plesk doesn't allow two databases with the same name.

Ok, I don't see an option for copying the whole database, but I passed the info along. Thanks for the help.

I believe the option you are looking for is a mysqldump ...you can do it from phpmyadmin or from ssh .
