I have had this problem for a week now, and it is about to make me move to a different provider, since I can not tell if the problem is the machine, which an upgrade would fix, or the network. I run a CS server for my clan on an AMD 1GHz 512M box, the first 5-6 days it ran fine with no problems had Adminmod, Statsme, HLguard running all latest versions. Then after a week I would have successive people just time out in the middle of a round, not during a map change but while playing. Just a long list of people (not everyone) just timeout.

I have changed the min and maxrate (currently 2500-6000), and disabled all mods and I am still getting this problem. RS won't look into it because "game servers" aren't supported. But how do I know its not a network issues since it seems to be people just timing out sporadically. I wouldn't mind upgrading my server if that would help, but it won't do any good if it is another problem and not the server.

I assumed that a box just running a 18 slot pub would not have to be a "powerhouse" I am not reselling game servers. I also have psychostats run about twice a day on the same box. To sum it up whether I have mods installed or not, people just time out from my server (as seen from the HLDS console) never happened before, and now it sucks I've reinstalled HLDS to different directories and users, and rebooted my machine several times but to no avail Any help or tips?

I also wanted to point out that nacarls has been trying to help me out, and since I was tired of highjacking someone else's thread (sorry) I decided to move it to this thread. Also an CS admins out there do you have people just timeout in the middle of a round for no apparent reason? And the only reason I am assuming its not the server is because it still runs, clients just time out. Plus I am running the latest beta server for HLDS.
