Is it impossible? I certainly can't seem to figure out how to do it on this account.
My site has been around forever and I just moved everything around. Now all my search engine listings are pointing to 404s and those people aren't directed to the correct page. I'd like to direct them. Please tell me this is possible.

I imagine you are talking about a linux system so this is the answer. Error pages and what they are called are decided by the httpd.conf file yes it can be done and must be declared from there. Contact your system administrator and have them enable this. If you want to test this try placing 404.htm 404.shtml 404.html in your home directory. I hope this helps I am not very good at explanations

Search the forum for custom errors and/or .htaccess
with .htaccess enabled and a .htaccess file is your best bet.. Mouse
