I am ready to commit to a server with a plesk control panel.

I have no experience with servers, lots with websites.

My questions:

What is it neccesary to do to get the server operating properly and have my web sites live?

What else is reccomended?

Can this be set up without any specialized knowledge of servers and unix?

Maybe my having to ask these questions is answer enough?

I would suggest starting out by posting this in the plesk forum, instead of general comments.....

then you will need to install some security....

then set your hostname...
