I have a form in FrontPage 2002 that is running ok on my current RAQ server. I am testing it on a new Plesk 5.0 server. When I click on Submit, the data is not sent to email (at least it is never received) and the form data is also not saved in the designated file. I do get the confirmation page.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Some new information from testing.

The form data is going to the file where it should be. I just needed to do a Refresh.

However, the email is not received.

If I create a new form, the email is received. But the email from an old form that I uploaded is not. That form is currently working on another server (RAQ).

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I think I figured out my problem.

I am doing my testing by changing the hosts file on my pc since I have my domain currently in production.

On the new server, if the form data is being emailed to an email address in a different domain - it works fine. If the email is sent to a user in the domain I was testing, it didn't work. Perhaps the email is actually getting directed to the user on the new server. I'm not sure how to check the email there, though.

I would suggest submitting the form to send the email while watching the maillog (tail -f /var/log/maillog) ...if that email doesn't show up in thier...it isn't reaching the server. Also look for the commands qstat and qread (locate qmail-qstat and locate qmail-qread ) those will help you greatly in figuring out what is in your queue.
