This is just HORRIBLE! The past 12 hours, my ded server has been sending FORTY EMAILS A SECOND, which in turn has crashed the server several times... and caused EXTREME lag... The messages are from "Root" and are titled "Email message limit for {IP} has been reached on {SITE} ({IP})!!!"

{IP} == Some IP
{SITE} == the name of the server . domain . com

Does anyone know how to fix this? I've sent in reboot requests... restarted the pop3 server, but neither worked...

Also, what is the command to list users and their recent commands? (in redhat linux 7.2)

Let me guess, you installed Bastille and PSAD on your server. Until you adjust your PSAD settings to control the amount of e-mail it sends stop it from running.
/etc/rc.d/init.d/psad stop

What REALLY gets me... Is we installed it a few weeks ago.. it just now activated by itself for some reason.

Also ( again ), how do you list all the users on your server? We gave away a few accounts and ... forget their names icon_sad.gif

Once again it turned itself back on! Grrr! SOMEONE HELP! How do I tell the last 10 or so commands given to the server, and the list of users that have SSH
foggy
why not visit the bastille thread in the how to section and tinker with PSAD to reduce the emails that it sends.

to see a list of commands type history in the ssh window
