I'd have to agree. I started using Plesk v1.3 at the start of this year and although it wasn't as advanced as v2.0 is it did the job. The front end is what most people talk about and having used both Cpanel and Plesk I think the Plesk one has a more professional look to it than Cpanel (mainly because there is so much of the content that is poorly aligned in Cpanel). But that's my opinion.
Plesk does install everything it needs into one place on the server but after having a Dialtone server as well I much preferred everything being located in once place (especially for backup purposes).
I suppose at the end of the day any server control software takes getting used to and I spent a long time understanding how Plesk works and knowing what it can and can't do. I feel happier with Plesk knowing it inside out rather than pussy footing around something I'm scared to properly use just in case it goes wrong.
Plus since Plesk uses mysql for all it's data it's very easy to manipulate it for what you want it to do. Ideal for my long terms plans
Steven, Plesk does allow unlimited domains and to me Plesk looks the cheaper alternative in the long run. But again that's based on my figures and my perspective.
Overall I think it would be a good move for RS to offer Cpanel boxes as there seems to be quite a lot of good support for it on these forums. I'd also like to know if Rackshack.net are thinking about offering any Windows boxes in the future???
