Full Version: FrontPage enable/disable in Plesk

I set up an account with the FP enabled. Now the client opted to turn it off. But when I try I get errors, saying various stuff, like file "" not found, can't erase, etc. Two or three different errors with the same result - it's still there.

Anyone knows a way arround this bug? I'd like to get rid of the extra files without deleting the whole account...

You login into the server through the shell and used the following command
while logged in as root:

/usr/local/psa/mysql/bin/mysql -u admin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` -e
"update hosting set fp='false' where fp_adm='';" psa

You then specified the login information for FP within the domain's physical
hosting screen and pressed update.

PER PLESK

This is an ongoing problem with FrontPage extensions and PSA. If this
happens again please use the command that I placed in the last email. Then
try to enable FrontPage extensions. If you have any further problems
please contact us.

Best Regards,

Thanks, that did it.

I had to change the command line and leave out the 'cat ... shadow' part. The mysql just asked me for the admin password and it worked just the same.

Great I had myself and Plesk tech go around for 3 days on that problem.
