Is anyone else's server running slower and slower as time goes by? When I first signed up I did a test using:
wget ftp://ftp.uu.net/uumap.tar.Z and scored around 1 MB/sec

About a week later, it was around 400 KB/sec....

Last week it was 300 KB/sec

NOW!! I just did the same test and only got 59 KB/sec..

There is a noticable speed difference on all websites hosted on my server, ping times have increased from an average of 60-80ms when i first signed up to an average of 250-300 ms now.

Why???

as you may have noticed we are moving from one data center to another. this may have something to do with the slowing speeds.

There are a number of issues involved with the network at this very moment. One main problem, a tunnel and transport between the two facilities, is being fixed as we speak. We actually had to turn up a dedicated circuit between the facilities. This is being turned up right now.

We will be through all transition issues and onto a unified network no later that the 18th.

You guys are doing a great job, and I appreciate all of the hard work of the RackShack staff. Sorry to be a complainer.
