My first day as a CPanel person and I am looking for advice.

Is there a master dns template that I use to generate the correct dns entries for any accounts that are created?.

When I looked in edit/create accounts I saw:

localhost
mail
ns1.mydomain.com
ns2.mydomain.com

Do I need ns1, ns2 and mail to have their separate zones or would they go in a master?.

Any examples would be gratefully received

In the Setup area (link almost at the top of the menu) you specify what name servers that should be used by default. If you create any reseller accounts you can select what name servers to use for each reseller.

Other than that all accounts are setup correctly already so you don't have to worry about this further.
