anyway to get myname.com for virtual sites to work? Right now myname.com points to the main website on the server and not the virtual site lik www.myname.com does. Anyone know how to fix this?

Not sure I understand what you are asking... Are you wanting domain.com to be a seperate site than www.domain.com? or do you just want http://domain.com to show in the address field on the browser instead of being redirected to http://www.domain.com?

If it is the latter, just comment out the redirect statements in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf for the virtual site domain.com.

http://virutalsite.com is being redirected to http://www.mainserverurl.com instead of http://www.virtualsite.com right now. I'd like to fix that.

In the site settings, make sure that vitualsite.com is set as a web alias for the site www.virtualsite.com and then in the dns make sure there is an A Record pointing virtualsite.com to the same ip as www.virtualsite.com. That is assuming that you are running your own dns. If not then this will have to be taken care of in the Rackshack dns and somebody else will have to explain that as I don't use it.

Did you add virtualsite.com as a "web server alias" in the site settings for the domain? That should fix it...
