I've used Paysystems for over a year and this is the first time there has been any problems with them. I'm a happy camper in spite of the short downtime last week.
They're up and it took me, when I tested it, 1 minute and 12 seconds to move from screen to screen when going through the payment system. I JUST got started, went with PS via the recommedations here and the timing couldn't be more perfect. I can't deal with this. This won't work. Not to mention they don't have 24x7 support. A company that size only available during business hours.
That's ludicrous. I'm moving off IMMEDIATLY to someone else and at this point, wouldn't recommend them to my ex-mother-in-law.
What bothers me even more, is it appears they have TWO problems. When their payment system goes down do does their main website and their email bounces.
OK, so I see they have a network problem. Then when I CAN get there I get database errors.
It would appear to me that they don't have any distribution. For example, from the onset, I've built that if my servers go down, customers can still contact me via email. Otherwise, how do you inform anyone of a timeframe to repair your problem.
It appears to me that PS hasn't thought through much of what they are doing, and offer TERRIBLE support and customer service. Terrible as in, none existant.
Even if I had been with them and service was great I'd have to ask them what the hell was going on. Guess I will put that paypal 'backup' method of payment in there after all. And thats it too...you'd think they'd email there clients, or on their site, when a client logs in they would explain the situation.
I don't know......I'm very wary of these guys right now.
