In the near future is RackShack going to be selling dedicated servers with Plesk 5.0 pre-installed on them?

Any ETA if so?

Currently and (at least) in the near future, RackShack only offers Ensim as a control panel. IMHO, Plesk won't come back to RS.
(but Ensim is at least as good as Plesk)

Get use to it!

Plesk is by far most peoples favorite webhosting control panel besides Cpanel and we would really like to see RackShack provide this top notch control panel once again!

From a customers point of view.

Why not just skip asking for plesk and go straight to asking for cpanel again? ;o

If Cpanel came to RackShack (at a reasonable cost), Ensim on my server would be HISTORY.

But plesk??... ick..

Speak for yourself, did you even see when RS offered Plesk servers and ensim servers at the same time?

The Plesk servers would get eaten up solid compared to the ensim. I'm stating this on a sales, not my personal fav like yourself.

I have 3 plesk servers which i am happy with, but they lack flexibility which Ensim has.

Plesk is like a locked cage, you cant addon to it, whereas iwth ensim its a piece of cake.

Ive got both a plesk 2.5 box and a ensim 3.1 box. As far as the control panel itself, the ensim panel seems to be organized much better and is setup for simple tasks.

The plesk box on the other hand is sometimes a little rough to handle seening how you have to go all the way back to the hosting page for a domain just to change its ftp user and pass? Seems a little strange to me.

But as a php programmer i enjoy the ease of the mysql database and the abilaty to forward or transfer urls in plesk where its impossible in ensim.

A large majority of my clients are part of some gaming community and require forwarding subdomains which they wish to setup whenever they pease to point to their gaming server stats and so forth. With plesk its possible, but with ensim...its just not there.

Id say that plesk as of the latest releases is the best panel ive ever used. The only problem is that it costs and arm and a leg. Im just glad RS sees the point that a panel is required so we are not all forced to install something like webmin on all our boxes....lol

my 2 cents
