I can't send mail from my new box, i get the following error message. Any ideas??

QUOTE
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'leahhayes@hotmail.com'. Subject 'testing', Account: 'klhosting.com', Server: 'mail.klhosting.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

Ok that was pretty dumb, but i'll post the solution here in case anyone else has the same problem.

In the control panel logged in as admin, under SERVER, and MAIL

make sure relaying is enabled, or requries autorization. mine was disabled.

if you leave your relay open wouldnt that leave you open to spammers relaying through your server?

inpernet
Are any tried with a Mac to send email using de MS Outlook and the "my server requires autorizartion".
I canīt send any emails.....

Been awhile since I've used a Mac inpernet, but MS Outlook should have a setting you can change to satisfy that authorization requirement.

Going from memory here, but I think it went something like this:

Tools, then Accounts, highlight the account you want to deal with and click the Properties button. Then the Server tab. Make sure My Server Requires Authentication is checked.

Don't quote me on that being the exact place it's at, cuz like I said, it's been awhile. That should get ya started in the right direction though.
