So can my Plesk box interpret ASP files?
It says in the Plesk Manual:
"Apache ASP allows for the use of Active Server Pages utilizing with Perl scripting only. It enables the development of dynamic web applications with session management and embedded Perl code"
I don't really understand what Perl has to do with ASP? Aren't they two different languages? I haven't learned ASP yet, but I would like my server to have ASP functionality.

ASP is really access to a number of COM based objects. Now these objects can be accessed by using VBScript, JScript or PerlScript languages. The usual language used when developing on a Windows platform is VBScript...
Basically Apache::ASP is developing in Perl but being able to use these COM objects that are usually only found on the Windows platform. If you learn ASP on Windows then it's not the same as Apache::ASP.

Have you ran any big sites with ChiliASP yet? When I tried it - I found it to be very unstable and couldn't be used for anything intensive...
