Full Version: PSA 5 not being upgraded.
I think it is ridiculous that RS is not going to upgrade the plesk licenses. Some users like myself payed $500 setup fees for their servers and now we aren't even going to receive an upgrade for our control panel. Also HS made his big announcement about urchin, but no one has seen any progress with it. I understand that RS has many servers, but HS made all this hype about it, and they aren't even ready to release it and put it on the servers. I am seriously reconsidering the kind comments that I have made about RS.
On the Urchin issue, the current Urchin process requires a manual intervention for the key installation which is not something we could do at this point due to the server counts involved. Our programmers are working on a process to fully automate the key installation in a manner that abides by their software license. It has taken more time that desired to make happen and it will likely take a few more weeks. We are working on it but I do not have a definite date.
We've continually added to the value at Rackshack, more so than ANY other host out there anywhere and will continue to add to the value when ever possible.
Bear in mond that we've been paying for the site license from Urchin since the day it went up on our web site so we are as disappointed on the progress as anyone.

Plesk is offering other avenues for upgrading to Plesk 5.0...although not a free upgrade.

Yeah I read that... but that's no more Plesk servers... I'm still waiting on this news release....
