I had someone inquire today saying that they are interested in settnig up a reseller account to host an "irc like enviorment" what I want to know is what does this mean.. I have not allowed any IRC things on my server and am wondering what this could mean? He says he would also need two open ports to set this up.. I am pretty sure I am going to say no but I was wondering if anyone knows roughly what this could be?

There are various java based chat systems that operate on a similar principle to irc (i.e. client/server). Normally they require a port on the server to listen to.
