Anyone know how I can find out if my server has the following minimum requirements for Squirrellmail?

- Unix/Linux or Windows Platform with PHP4 Support (unix/linux is most powerful),
- (UW-IMAP, IMAP - courier-imap, cyrus-imap, CommuniGate, MS
- Exchange Server, MercuryMail 32)* Web Server with PHP4 enabled (prefer apache) (PHP 4.0.2 or higher required)
- Perl Installed on your system (if you don't have Perl, SquirrelMail will run OK, but for the first configuration, Perl is a good helper, if you don't have Perl, you will need to manually modify the config file)
- Unlike many PHP applications, MySQL (or other db) is NOT required.
- SM will NOT work with the cgi version of PHP under IIS. -- I got it to work using the cgi module of PHP4 under IIS 5.0 . A reader's
- note - I have SM running under the dll and also under the cgi. The dll is nmore stable
- Cookies must be enabled.
- Register globals must be on (may be "off" beginning with v1.2.icon_cool.gif.

Well, assuming that you have a standard Plesk server, squirrelmail should work just fine.

Anyway, what's stopping you from looking at what's installed on your server? The list of requirements for squirrelmail is pretty straightforward.

Ales,

Quite honestly I'm a rookie and don't know the commands. If you know where I can find, I'd gladly do the research. Maybe all this information is available from Rackshack, but again I'm a rookie here, but we all were rookies before we knew it! Any help would be appreciated....

Thanks,
