Hi, all,

I am new to cpanel, When I created an email account, and go to Horde webmail, and got following errors:

A fatal error has occurred
DB Error: connect failed
Details have been logged for the administrator.

Could somebody tell me how to fix this?

There's a cPanel script for this. I'll be right back with the name of it.

I think it might have been /scripts/restartsrv_mysql

(Had this same issue last week)

You also can just restart mysql via the service command or even just the pretty button in WHM

When I restart mysql in whm, I got follwoing error" mysql failed"

I use /scripts/restartsrv_mysql and it works.
