Full Version: COPY AN ACCOUNT FROM ANOTHER SERVER DNS Issue

Hi, I'm migrating some accounts from another WHM/Cpanel server with the exact same versions of Cpanel/WHM. I'm using the "COPY AN ACCOUNT FROM ANOTHER SERVER" tool in WHM. All goes well, EXCEPT that after the new server finishes copying over the site, it updates the DNS for both servers with then new IP from the new server. I also have DNS clustering enabled. Is there any way to NOT have the DNS records changed on both servers after the copy? I'd rather do this manually after the copy is complete.

Thanks, Bob

There was a submenu item that asks about pointing to the new server after transfer but I have never done it with a clustered server.

What does copy account mean? Does it mean the structure of the account or does it include all the content in the account such as html, images etc., as well as db's associated with the account?
