Is this possible? I am painstakingly adding maps to my maps list one at a time, and I have hundreds of maps. There has got to be an easier way than selecting GameType->DeathMatch, clicking Next, selecting the map and click Add.

Unfortunately not right yet. That's one of those things that's going to be reworked

I am not to fond of the map rotation feature of cortex. I would like it to allow you to add the map name and just hit enter. Then the name is entered into the database for adding to the map rotation.
