Hi,
How am i able to stop the automatic update of apache.
Last night it tried to update to apache 2. and that breaks things with Cpanel.
I know to use up2date --configure but i dont know the correct steps.
plz help
are there any other specific packages i should stop the updating of so it wont casue cpanel probs.

Type, up2date --configure
Then look at 9, it should look like this:
9. pkgSkipList ['kernel*', 'httpd*', 'perl', 'mysql*', 'php*', 'mod_ssl*
If not, press 9 then Enter.
Copy and paste the following line then press Enter.
kernel*;httpd*;perl;mysql*;php*;mod_ssl*;
Press Enter again to save/quit.

Just for good measure to make sure you're up-to-date you could do up2date -p then up2date -u to have it update the package profile on RedHat Network then update all available packages, minus those to be skipped.
