I am very new to this whole process so please bear with me. I found a post here on this forum about setting up a DNS server using another control panel but none for cPanel. In a nutshell, here's the deal:

My main domain is nodtveidt.net. I would like to have ns1.nodtveidt.net and ns2.nodtveidt.net. I already have the extra IP required for this. I just have no idea how to configure the server to make this work. I've looked all over the place for tutorials on the subject and found nothing but technobabble and specs, which mean absolutely nothing to me. Some clear, concise layman's terms would be great.

Also, probably related...subdomains don't work on my server at the moment. I imagine that once I get everything configured properly that things will work but for the moment, they don't work.

Yep, I'm new. But thanks in advance to anyone who can lend a hand.
