I've tried to find some info, reqarding disabling MailScanner after it's been installed, if needed. As if the MailScanner is stopped, then Exim appears not to function or send/recieve any emails.
What is the proper proceedure to disable MailScanner and still have Exim work properly w/o MailScanner even tho it's been installed ??

A quick fix to at least get your email working again would be to go to WHM - exim configuration and erase /etc/mailscanner from the entry field then hit save. Exim will restart and should be delivering mail again. Theres some sort of problem with Mailscanner putting all mail in quarentine (sp?) - probably a bad cPanel update but it has to do with incorrect permissions on the work folder mailscanner uses.
