Ive seen a few threads like these two and it was totally overlooked by me, till I started talkin about it out loud to a friend, and figured it out. You feel dumb to afterwards but here goes.

15 accounts I tried to transfer and only 4 would not transfer but all seem to have the same errors, tarball failure or checksum errors. The two accounts that failed on checksum errors, required moving over a gig of data, I instead used scp to move the larger portions of data, deleted them on the old server, and tried the move again and it worked just fine. The other two, made me feel even more dumber. Their quota was only set to 20 megs and 50 megs. They were using up all their diskspace. Since the account move has to create a backup of their entire contents, it uses their diskspace quota for this. Since they had no diskspace left, it would return tarball errors on the parent server that you are trying to transfer to. Other then that, Ive not had a problem transfering accounts since, (from other cpanel servers)
