 Vmare Guest OS WinXP Can't browse but can ping, help please |

Hello,
I just setup a Vmware server in my linux box and install Windows XP guest OS, Now the problem is with my IP settings in Lan card, I am able to ping the all over internet but when i try to browse any site using IE or Firefox no any site opening. Anyone please tell me what to do, i didn't have any firewall or anti virus installed on the XP. Any help really very appreciated. Thanks. |

Does the host linux system have a firewall? Try turning off iptables and see if that fixes things.
