I'm am in serious need of a DNS expert's opinion. I'm trying to setup a single server running DNS. This server will have multiple IP's and numberious websites. I need to be able to assign IP's to sites, SSL etc. My problem is that I can't seem to figure out how to configure DNS. I've gone throught all kinds of tutorials and documentation online all to no avail. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Can anyone help me? Please?

I'm interested to know what "exactly" you had issues with and how you figured it out.
I find Windows DNS to be quite simple (install and configure), but I work with Windows servers every day so everyone understands things they are used to vs. something that is new to them. Now, if it were Linux, I would not have a clue what I would be doing. (installing and basic configuration is about the extent of my Linux knowledge). |
