For when the Cpanel VPS licenses?

I see most providers that offer normal Cpanel licenses also offer the Cpanel VPS license. They are normally 10$/month for mass providers like TP. I still dont understand why The Planet offers as an option normal Cpanel licenses but they dont have VPS ones. And I dont meant those Virtuozzo licenses with Cpanel. That is a bundled product and some people use other virtualizations that are not Virtuozzo. Also Virtuozzo is from Cpanel competition. This seems to be a boxed solution and The Planet is so flexible with configs except this one.

Yes, you mean this: http://www.cpanel.net/products/cpvps/

I've been wondering the same thing since I first read about its release.

A few years ago I was able to get a cpanel vps license for $15/month from EV1Servers when they first came out with virtuozzo end-user offerings.

In FDC servers they give you a license for 10$ a month. And normally you can get them anywhere for 12$.

I once contacted sales about this and they said they had them with the virtuozzo packages.

It seems they forget im horrified about Parallels products. People could use several virtualization technologies including VMware, Xen, etc. And they would still want a Cpanel VPS. I dont think its fair to box clients directly with one solution only.

But I guess the only one that looses is The Planet when people get their licenses somewhere else. Im sure others will even the servers somewhere else because they can apply to low licenses that you can here.

I dont understand if they already can have normal licenses why they would not get VPS licenses as well in the same process.
