It appeared that my server went down at around 10:00 AM. I had The Planet do a manual reboot but my site is still down.

I cna ping just fine but remote desktop won't connect, nor will anything else.

I started a live chat with support and they said the problem wasn't on my end.

Does any one know what's going on???

Having the same issue. On CentOS. Support would only say they were working on it.

Nope, we're having the same problems with our Linux servers. Can reach them through the console and by pinging but not on any service. Looks like there's some switch or firewall-related problem.

Can't get through to support on the Live Chat and the ticket's not been updated since 10:51 CDT. They said that their network engineers were on the case and to be patient.

It'd be nice to have a bit more information about what's going on to placate clients. Or better still, an estimated time for a fix.

We currently have engineers looking into a connectivity issue with some locations on the Internet. At this time, it is to early to say if the issue is internal or upstream or have an estimated time for repair. I can assure you we will have connectivity restored as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience.

Ours too.

Was on the phone to Tech Support when they came back up. Said it was something to do with the firewalls.

The issue should be resolved at this point. Our firewall team is currently verifying that all affected servers are back up.

Hi,

I thing i had same problem, may check this and see if that was same problem, i just want to know and make sure that was not my problem.

My problem begins last month after first OS Reload, exactly after a security support came to my server and upgrade my F-secure, then after reboot server wents down, and another OS Reload, Server was ok , they again came and upgraded me, server was ok,

till 4 days ago, i restarted server and it didnt come back. outage ticket created and after some hours i got this answer "The server now responds to PING requests, and Plesk appears to be working as well, however we are not able to get a response via RDC"

and most services like FTP didnt worked and on that time they couldnt bring back RDP and Services and said me that i was hacked?

could it be a hack or same problem?

by the way i have done os reload and server is ok now, i want to know if this was something that others experienced because after these probelm, i couldnt sleep ant nights and afraid all time if server goes down after next restart.

Regards,
Hamed
