I'm very interested in getting a 32 slot dedicated DX 10 Crysis server up but I have no clue what the requirements will be. I'm in the beta and have even asked the Cry people but unfortunately they could not give me an answer, only thing I know is that the server will be windows only and "maybe" linux. Can anyone give me at least a ballpark figure as to what to expect in the server requirements mellow.gif

OK... I guess I asked this question in the wrong category or I shouldn't have asked a question like this at all. SORRY icon_eek.gif

Asking the question is fine here, just sounds like nobody knows. You could try in the cortex section but probably won't have much more luck.

Asking in Game Hosting or Cortex would probably garner more responses but I don't even know how to answer your question.

Lets just assume for a minute that this game is on the bleeding edge and will require moderate muscle to run. From that we can assume that if this is the only thing you plan on running then you get a slightly lower end machine, but if want to run other servers off of the same dedicated server you will need a more substansive solution.

I would say if this is all you plan on hosting then maybe this server would be good:

-Intel Xeon 3040 Dual-core Conroe Processor
-1024 MB RAM
-250GB SATA Hard Drive
-1500 GB Bandwdidth
-10 IPs
$149.00
