When I try to login to my Plesk 7.5 control panel, I keep getting looped back to the login page. I know I have the correct login information because I get no error message. Sometimes I am actually able to get into the control panel, but after clicking around to a few pages, I eventually get jumped back to the login page.
I have had this server for a couple years and this is a recent problem. I have searched extensively in this forum and others, but have not found the solution. Cleaning out my cache and cookies does not work. I am hainvg the problem with both IE and Firefox. If anyone has had this same problem and can give me any advice, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks |

do the log files provide any insight? I believe they are in /usr/local/psa/var/log/ .

Check the plesk httpd error logs in the /usr/local/psa/var/log/ from there you should be able to tell what the error is. It is most likely something related to PHP and/or premissions.

Thanks I too faced the same issue of login page looping. I fixed the issue by turn on register_globals in php.ini. If register_globals is off PHP_SELF variables value seems to be undefined. I wish they would just let us see the code so we can find problems like this a bunch easier, or atleast provide some sort of diagnostics tool. I have nightmares about the phrase "The file $FILE is part of Plesk distribution. It cannot be run outside of Plesk environment". -------------------- "The average person thinks he isn't." -- Father Larry Lorenzoni
