Hey, I've been reading through these forums all day. Found a lot of useful information on game servers and company's. I have a few questions for those that run game servers. First off, I'm looking into getting two of the Insomnia365 Conroe 3060. Currently I run a few CSS servers and a few TFC servers on a single box, but I'm hoping to expand. Also, I'm not looking at starting a company, I just deal with private servers from friends.
My question's are: 1) Would you suggest linux or windows? Personally I'm a linux fan 2) Do you have any suggestions on load balancing? 3) How many 66 tick 20slot CSS Server's do you think one of these can handle? Thanks in advance for the help. |
