If you have an unranked box just install the POE2 engine then overwrite the engine files with the new version.

So I have to upload the server client files and then what?
Do I upload the files to a specific folder in the POE2 folder?

Well I installed the engine and I assuming I have to manually update the engine. So I am currently installing an instance on my box for POE2. What do I need to do from there?

If you have remote desktop just overwrite the old files. I don't think you will be able to overwrite the current POE2 files via FTP but you can give it a try. I would suggest opening a ticket and seeing if they can escalate it to Zach to update the POE2 files.

If you really get in a bind, email me and maybe we can work something out for a server rental for a week until you get your server updated.

Ok remote desktop I haven't used. I am not sure how to use it but I do have a friend that uses it everyday from work to connect to his home computer. However the server files I have found are an .exe. They aren't files that I can just overwrite. Would I be able to run an executable once logged into remote desktop?

How would I go about finding the information I need to login to remote desktop? I guess I can just make a ticket.

Working on it right now actually. My RSS of updates didn't seem to notify me of the update. I was notified earlier this week by ROC, but I thought it was a beta they were wanting me to update.

Sounds good. Any idea when it will be done? Also I started a POE2 instance yesterday with the version 1.15 and it never seemed to turn on completely. Server name and player count showed N/A. (Yes I waited for awhile. I think I waited about 5-10 minutes.)

I've got the ticket you specified EaglezEye.

I'm thinking the POE2 update will fix things so you won't have any problems. If not, I'll dig around and see what's up.

No ETA on the update. I've scheduled a quick maintenance on the update server.. so it will be after that is completed.

Zach check it out. Here is what happens after I turn it on even after I updated the engine. Maybe it is something in my settings?

Address: 74.52.228.68:16567
Players online: N/A
Hostname: N/A
Map: N/A
CPU Use: %
Memory Use: 23MB

The RCON and Status symbols are also greyed out.
