I would like to request a tutorial for setting up bind to work with your domain name. The steps are something like the following.
1. register a domain name. 2. at your domain registrars control panel (usually), you register a nameserver and point it to the external ip address of where your DNS server is located or where it will be located. 3. change the DNS on your domain to point to your new nameserver that you just registered. 4. install BIND on the machine (the one that is located at the IP address of the machine that you specified in step 2. 5. what to do next is unknown to me at this point, please help. One last thing to note is that on OpenSUSE, most of the config files for bind seem to be not installed. whats teh command to install the default config files for named and I would like to request a tutorial that includes all this info.
