I've got a TC server running RHEL3. I've had it for about 1-1/2 yrs now, and need to upgrade some software to get better performance. Here's what I've got now:

Dual Xeon 2.8 GHz, 2GB RAM, 100mbps port, 80GB HD
RHEL3 release 2.4.21-27.0.2.ELsmp
Apache 2.0.46
MySQL v 3.23.58
PHP v4.3.2
Plesk v7.02

I'm confused, since is it possible upgrading MySQL could cause Plesk to break? And which "stable" versions are best to use with RHEL or even possible to use.

Any advice?

Answer: let Planet tech perform the upgrades. Kernel and Plesk were included, other upgrades fell under 1 hr Gold admin time.
