I'm running Ensim4 Pro, RedHat Linux. I did a pho -v in ssh and got the following back.

PHP 4.3.2 (cgi), Copyright © 1997-2003 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v1.3.0, Copyright © 1998-2003 Zend Technologies

I am trying to install Modernbill and it requires Zend Optimizer Version 2.1.0 or Greater. I have a few questions here. Is the Zend engine the same as the Optimizer? I downloaded the latest version of Zend Optimizer today and after 8 hours of f&%$ with this, I'm at the forum. I did the ./install.sh and ran the program through and nothing has changed. I also have tried installing the ioncube ( the other option ) and when I pull up the phpinfo, it is never listed as a module or gets the Modernbill installation to start. Is there certain directories and changes I need to be aware of when installing? Do I need to delete or uninstall anything to get one of these to work?

Thanks

You still have to install either ioncube loader, or the zend optimizer, or both.

Im going for ioncube, I check my error logs and I am getting the following errors. I guess this means thats it still not installed or the location of something is pointing in the wrong direction?

Failed loading /ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_4.3: /ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_4.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

And Modernbill is showing this error message when I goto index.php

Session: connection failed

Session: connection failed
