Hi All:
Ever since I upgraded to the latest apache version, whenever I restart apache, ssl fails. I am using the following method to restart apache: service httpd stop service httpd start When I do this, all my clients that have secure certificates installed call me saying no one can access their site via ssl. I have verified this. The only way I know to get ssl running again is to reboot the server. I have 3 questions: 1. Is anyone else having this problem? 2. Does anyone know what might be causing this? 3. Is there an easier way to restart the ssl server? I look forward to your help and feedback. Thanks. Puritan Hope |

I am not having any such problems but try this:
service httpd stop httpdssl start if that does not work I would say recompile apache, sometimes it takes it a few times for it to work correctly for me using the cpanel scripts. The httpdssl start should work, might even try httpd start. hope one of these things helps you out -------------------- John W My personal website with many free security and linux how-to's!
