I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place for this thread, but if any of you guys out there aren't too busy, and can offer some advice I'd really appreciate it. It's my first time moving to a dedicated server, I'm having some problems getting started. I think I setup the info correctly, I'm not sure though. My Server IP is: 66.79.171.10 and my IP Range is: 66.79.171.10 -- 66.79.171.19.

I have the domain Massinfluence.net, I registered ns1.massinfluence.net to 66.79.171.10 and ns2.massinfluence.net to 66.79.171.11. Now my previous reseller site doesn't display, and nor does my new server I purchased. I created an account in whm, and when i try to view the IP url in browser, I get a page cannot be displayed error (I threw a test index.html page up via ftp).

I'm hoping you guys may possibly be able to help me fix the problem, so I may get started uploading my sites. If you need any more information, just let me know. I apologize for bothering you guys, I'm new to this.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure that apache is in fact running. You should get atleast some cpanel page.

If it does work you can use
http://ip/~username/
untill the DNS kicks in

It will normally take 24-72 hours for a domain named change to totally take effect when you move nameservers like you have.
